WHO WE ARE

The Greater Generation Foundation is a non - profit organization dedicated to serving the youth in our community. Our founder is not just a visionary! In fact, she is dedicated to being a hands on leader by directly engaging with children and families in our community through public events, mentorship, and other activities.

She practiced the gift of giving at a young age which moved her to found this non - profit to make a difference on a larger scale.

“In middle school I always kept odd jobs so that I could use the funds to help others, whether it were a friend or family, I’d give the shirt off my back. I had a classmate who would get picked on for having holes in her shoes. So one day I had saved up enough money to buy her a new pair of shoes. The look on her face was priceless. She walked down the halls so confidently moving forward. At that moment, I knew what my purpose was.”-Brandie W.

“When covid hit, I immediately noticed a decline in the economy. Where single parents were affected the most. People lost their jobs, inflation happened. Inflation is still happening. I began to realize, if I we’re a single parent, I would be living pay check to pay check just to make ends meet. It saddened me to see how many families around me were struggling. I knew then, that it was my time to shine and begin to serve my purpose fully.” -Brandie W.
